I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately but I have been drowning with pro blogging commitments, work and of course my personal life offline but I thought this is too good a purchase not to share with you.
I. ADORE.
It has always been love at first sight.
and lust…sigh
I promised myself that I won’t buy any more LV this year till our trip to the US in October. So, I thought I could content myself with just checking the bags out. Y’know, trying them out for size…This pull and push desire to purchase another LV bag went on for months. I go visit LV at least once a fortnight.
Checking out the latest arrivals. Trying out the merchandise.
But alas, I found something I REALLY, REALLY liked. I would’ve bought this LV Manon Mini Lin MM on impulse. But common sense did prevail. And of course, some well-meaning advice from friends to wait till my next overseas trip so I can buy this baby at its duty free price (which gives me 10% off the retail price).
I actually prefer the platine version of this bag but since it was a limited colour stock. I had to settle for this or none at all. As the weeks passed by, each visit to a LV store…i found myself falling in love with this mini lin. I like the ebene colour now which is a bonus!
So what do you know? I’m flying to Melbourne on business on Sunday so what did I do today? I bought this baby at the local LV store at its duty free price! I’ve only got the box and the paper bag. The bag I get to pick up at the airport on Sunday before I fly so I can use the bag while I’m away.
No, there’s no point in buying the bag in Melbourne as I’ve compared prices and I gain nothing from buying the bag in Australia. This way, I don’t get the hassle of lugging the LV box and paper bag on my way home which will give me room for more of my shopping finds.
So there, I have no EQ. I can’t wait till October.
But I’m a happy camper!

Hope your enjoying your new purchase of LV. I, myself never owned one. But I know the feeling of wanting a bag so badly and fighting the urge to have it. Many years ago,I bought a bag on impulse – that costed me an arm and a leg because I was a student at that time. To this day, I’m still loving it and no regrets. So enjoy it!
