July 2011 marks our 10th wedding anniversary and since I love “planning” things, MrG and I have started discussing where we could go to celebrate this very important milestone.
I know that a trip somewhere would be a given for this wedding anniversary celebration but to where is definitely undecided.
Every year since MrG and I got married, we’ve gone away somewhere at every wedding anniversary. Just the two of us.
But these trips have mostly been within New Zealand. I thought for our 10th year, we’d go international.
Here are our top picks:
1. Relive our Honeymoon – An island hopping tour of the Philippine Islands which includes visits to Boracay, Shangri-La Mactan and the like.
2. A week in the gorgeous islands of Fiji, Rarotonga or Tahiti
3. A week touring the city of Love – Paris, France (and perhaps a side visit to my Mecca, err, Louis Vuitton’s flagship store in Paris)
4. A Cruise. Somewhere. But haven’t decided where.
So those are my, err, our top choices so far. We haven’t considered doing anything within New Zealand. We will look into that if we find ourselves strapped for cash by the time July 2011 rolls in 
Have you got any other suggestions on what we can do for our nth honeymoon? We’d probably only have a week max. Any suggestions are welcome

We probably won’t divulge on our family website the actual timing and place of our anniversary trip as we have a team of stalkers here (yes, our “stalkers” are growing!) at For Gooding Sake
We don’t really want to see them booking the same trip as us! That’d be in Bea’s words….an epic fail! LOL

Because it would allow me to live vicariously through you, i pick Paris.
However, I know Simon hates the city, so Fiji would be my second choice!

From what I hear, relatively mas mura daw sa Prague.
I only met Simon once but I can tell from talking to him that he will be miserable in a cruise unless it’s to someplace like Alaska or maybe Antartica. I could be wrong… =)
I think you should do the fiji/tahiti combo. Or maybe the Maldives?
G, you must have had a decent convo with Simon becoz I agree with you….he may be miserable in a cruise! hehe Yeah, Alaska or Antarctica cruise would definitely suit him better though if we end up booking a cruise for our anniversary…
Greece! That’s where I want to go for our 10th next year (but we probably won’t b/c of lack of funds…=) But you can certainly go!
Your Tahiti, Fiji, etc idea is great too. I loved Fiji when we went for our honeymoon.

I secretly (well, not a secret now!) like Paris becoz of LV….i know, i’m selfish! haha
Wow – that sounds fantastic. Whatever you do I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time. For our 10th Anniversary I organised us renewing our vows (in secret). David never knew until he was there!!! I even got him to write his own vows by saying there was a competition on the radio and you had to say how much you loved me in a paragraph – wha la, instant vows!!!
