A day of Reckoning for my Beloved Philippines

I may be a New Zealand citizen now but a big part of my heart and soul still belong to the Philippines.

election quote

I decided to stop caring about what happened to the Philippines the day the current President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo pardoned that thief, err, ousted, impeached ex-President ERAP, here I am again….coming back like a prodigal daughter.

I do care what happens to the Philippines. I will pray for my country on this day.

The day of reckoning. The day of the general elections in the Philippines.

I don’t worry about the “enlightened” voters who will vote with their heart (fingers crossed). I worry about the big percentage of the population who will vote for those who they see on TV a lot.

I don’t care whether it’s Noynoy, Gordon, Gibo or Villar who gets elected President.

Just. No. More. ERAP.

Please.
